Privacy policy
Last updated: 09/10/2026
Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy explains what data we process when you visit www.parnasoil.gr or contact us, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Greek Law 4624/2019.
1. Data controller
AFOI KIRKOU O.E. (ΑΦΟΙ Β. ΚΥΡΚΟΥ Ο.Ε., Parnas Lubricants), Dirrachiou 72, 10443 Athens, Greece, tel. +30 210 6215490-3, email info@parnasoil.gr.
For any matter about your data you can write to us at info@parnasoil.gr.
2. When you visit the website
- We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
- The only exception is the Google Maps map on the Contact page: when you open that page your browser loads the map directly from Google, which receives your IP address and may use cookies under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). No other page loads third-party content.
- Fonts and images are served from our own server.
- Like every web server, the server hosting the website records technical access data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type). This is used only to run and secure the website, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and is deleted after a short period: [to be completed according to the hosting provider].
3. When you contact us
When you email us, call us or use the form on the Contact page, we process the details you give us (name, email, phone, message).
The website form does not send or store any data on our server. It only opens your device's email app with the message ready, and you decide whether to send it.
- Purpose: to answer your request and, if you ask, to give you information or an offer for our products.
- Legal basis: steps prior to entering into a contract or performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention: as long as needed to handle the request and serve our cooperation. Where a transaction takes place, data is kept for as long as tax and commercial law require.
4. Who receives the data
We do not sell or share your data for advertising. Access may be given only to:
- the website hosting provider and the email service provider, as processors acting on our behalf,
- our accountant and public authorities, where the law requires it.
If any of our providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, this happens only with GDPR safeguards (for example standard contractual clauses).
5. Links to third parties
Links to Facebook and the share buttons (Facebook, X/Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr) open those services only when you click them. From then on their own privacy policies apply.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, under the conditions of the GDPR. To exercise them, write to us at info@parnasoil.gr. We will reply within one month at the latest.
If you believe the processing infringes the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, Kifisias 1-3, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr.
7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
8. Minors
The website is intended for professionals and adult users. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes
If the way the website works changes (for example if visitor statistics or a form that sends data are added), we will update this policy before the change.
